FILM

After an absurd erotic dream featuring Jesus, a religious man tries to find absolution for what he believes is a sin.

A short film created through the CIEE + FAMU Production Track – study abroad program. Myself as well as my two collaborators spent the semester in Prague writing, casting, directing, shooting, and editing our own short narrative film.

'Male Gaze' concept

(cinematography | animator | editor | songwriter)

An experimental exploration of the male gaze, rooted in Laura Mulvey’s film theory and expanded through lenses of psychoanalytic and gender theory. Blending autobiographical imagery with symbolic visual language, the film interrogates how media shapes  the unconscious structures that sexualize, objectify, and categorize women. Fluid in form and layered in meaning, the project challenges viewers to confront how the gaze is not just seen—but felt.

Birth, Death, Rebirth

(animator | editor)

A AAH-262 Video Art and MUS-200 collaborative installation alongside the immensely talented Galen Halasz. The installation took place in the black box theater at St. Lawrence University. All projects were projected onto three glass panels that hung from the ceiling.
Our piece aimed to highlight nature's rejuvenating essence and its profound impact on our inner and outer worlds. Amidst our quest for connection, the prevalent environmental degradation is severing our ties with nature. The project delves into environmentalism from an intrapersonal perspective. Complementing the visuals is Galen's original math metal/rock composition, known for its intricate and dissonant melodies, odd time signatures, and polyrhythms.

Looks like you made it to the end!
